Furniture & Finish Budget: we offer several design services tailored to accommodate different furnishing budgets and project expectations:

• Full-Service Design: Ideal for comprehensive projects with a typical furniture & finish budget starting anywhere from $25,000-150,000 and up.

• Design Day: Ideal for clients seeking design-only services without project management, with a furniture & finish budget starting at $5,000-25,000 and up.

We charge a flat fee for our design services, which ensures transparency from the start. The design fee will be clearly outlined in your proposal, so you’ll know the total cost before signing off and beginning your project. Our Full Service design fees start at $3,000 and our Design Day costs $2,500.

Full-Service Design
Our Full-Service Design offering is a complete, end-to-end solution that covers every aspect of your project. From initial concept to final installation, we provide in-person design consultations, design development- floorplans, diagrams and 3D models, sourcing and purchasing of furniture & fixtures, project management, and hands-on installation to bring your vision to life—stress-free.

Example of scope: large-scale renovations, new builds or full home furnishing projects.

Design Day
Our Design Day is a streamlined, design-focused service offering a fast turnaround for those who want a professional plan they can implement at their own pace. This package includes an in-depth consultation and a schematic design plan- curated color scheme, a floor plan, furniture plan, and a spec sheet with recommended furniture, fixtures and finishes.

Example of scope: less intricate projects that tackle maybe one or two rooms at a time.

We are fortunate to have relationships with so many talented vendors and we love incorporating custom and one-of-a-kind pieces to make every design unique. These relationships require a time and financial commitment, and it is our policy to price our products so they are competitive with retail.

Our pricing includes our team managing the entire ordering process for you, so you never have to lift a finger. Our design fee is based on purchases being managed by our firm.

Every project is unique and we'll provide an estimated timeline in your proposal. The design phase takes anywhere from 6-8 weeks and big projects can take up to 16 weeks. From there, ordering, furniture production, shipping, and project management can take anywhere from 16-24 weeks or more depending on lead times from craftsmen and manufacturers.

A typical furnishing project takes about 24-32 weeks from start to finish, and a renovation or build project can take a year or more. We recommend securing a designer 8-12 months in advance of any upcoming deadlines.

Once we've officially started your project, we're available by email during business hours and are happy to schedule calls to talk through any questions you have about the process. We'll find out upfront how involved you want to be and how often you want updates, then we'll manage the communication from there so you can enjoy the process without overwhelm or anxiety.

Arlene Adele Design recommends that you research and acquire the necessary contractors and consultants required to implement the design and sign a separate agreement with those companies. Arlene Adele Design does not provide a warranty, guarantee their quality of work, and is not responsible for their performance. Arlene Adele Design will observe the work being done to ensure the goal of the project is on track.

Our research phase is thorough and tailored to capture your unique design style and lifestyle. Each proposal includes a specified number of revisions, allowing you to request changes as needed. We also provide detailed sketches and 3D computer models in every presentation, helping you visualize the design and ensuring it aligns with your vision before finalizing. Your satisfaction is our priority!

We'll be working closely together for an extended period of time, and there may be delays or frustrations along the way. It is our commitment to manage any issues and provide open and honest communication so you are never left in the dark.
